▍Natsu-Mon! 20th Century Summer Vacation Gameplay
■ Introducing the quest element “Adventure”! The protagonist grows by experiencing a multitude of adventures!
In Natsu-Mon! 20th Century Summer Vacation, a variety of adventures, big and small, are prepared as quests and events. By exploring the town, talking to many people, and investigating intriguing places, the protagonist discovers new adventures through their own actions. On completion of these adventures, there’s a chance to receive stickers. Upon receiving a sticker, the upper limit of the stamina gauge increases, enabling you to run longer distances or climb to higher places.
The protagonist can climb all kinds of places, not just trees. By collecting stickers and increasing the upper limit of his stamina gauge, he can access places that were initially unreachable.
The discovered adventures are registered in the “Adventure Notes”. In the Adventure Notes, you can check the content and progress of the discovered adventures. The notes are divided into “big adventures” and “small adventures”, with important ones and those with a high degree of completion classified as big adventures, while simpler ones like assisting town people are classified as small adventures.
■ Introducing items to make the summer vacation enjoyable!
Insect Collection Set
An insect net and cage, which can be obtained at the beginning of the game. The teacher at Yomogi town’s elementary school has prepared this as part of the “summer vacation study set” for the protagonist. When catching insects, moving while crouching can be helpful.
Fishing Rod
A fishing rod handed down from Tokotoko, a circus troupe member. To fish effectively, the combination of bait and lure is important.
Guri Gun
A toy gun that shoots acorns. It’s used not only in shooting games but also for various purposes such as activating mechanisms with the Guri gun or stunning insects perched high in trees.
■ Direct the Circus Troupe’s Performance and Aim for a Successful Show!
As the child of the circus troupe’s leader, the protagonist can direct circus performances as the story progresses, freely deciding on acts, music, and more. As performances are repeated, the circus troupe ranks up. The number of acts that can be presented in a single performance increases, and new acts, music, and costumes can be acquired.
