Publisher Future Friends Games, and developer Helder Pinto, who has worked on several Overwatch 2 maps, revealed a new gameplay trailer for their upcoming open-world adventure game Europa during the Guerrilla Collective Showcase 2023.
Set on the moon Europa, a lush terraformed paradise in Jupiter‘s shadow, the game centers on an android named Zee who embark on an adventure in search of answers. Run, glide, and fly across the landscape, solve mysteries in the ruins of a fallen utopia, and discover the story of the last human alive.
The new trailer provides a glimpse of the game’s stunning visual design, underlining the various locales players will navigate, ranging from serene lakes and sweeping grasslands to towering mountains and ancient ruins. It further spotlights the game’s free-flowing movement mechanics, allowing players to effortlessly glide and fly across the landscape, offering a serene, almost meditative gaming experience.
Europa is due out for PC via Steam in 2023, followed by unannounced consoles at a later date.
