PM Studios and Pathea Games announced that My Time at Sandrock is now set to release on September 26 for Nintendo Switch, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, PlayStation 5, and PC via Steam, Epic Games Store, and GOG. A PlayStation 4 port is expected to follow later this year, with the exact release date yet to be announced.

The eagerly-awaited sequel to the simulation series is set in a Western-themed, post-apocalyptic world combining elements of farming, dungeon exploration, construction, and social interaction. Just like its previous installment, the mission of the players is to restore a community to its former glory while battling an array of monsters.

Following its successor My Time at Portia, My Time at Sandrock intends to offer players a multifaceted gameplay experience, from saving the world, romancing the townsfolk, and unearthing lost technology, to combating the monsters threatening Sandrock. Alternatively, players can enjoy more relaxed pursuits such as participating in mini-games and indulging in various crafting activities.

The developers also confirmed that a cooperative multiplayer mode will be introduced to the console versions of My Time at Sandrock later in the year. The feature was previously announced for the PC version only. Players who have purchased the single-player console version will receive the multiplayer mode at no extra charge once it becomes available.

Pathea also extended a heartfelt thank you to all participants of My Time at Sandrock’s early access on PC via Steam. The feedback provided by the community has greatly contributed to the game’s development. In recognition of their support, early access players will receive an exclusive in-game item as a token of appreciation. Further details on how to claim this special gift will be revealed later.
