Original TV anime Toji no Miko (刀使ノ巫女) previously announced a mobile game for 2018 release. The title is now revealed to be Toji no Miko: Kizamishi Issen no Tomoshibi (刀使ノ巫女 刻みし一閃の燈火).
Kizamishi Issen no Tomoshibi, currently in production at Square Enix, runs parallel to the anime’s plot but introduces a different protagonist. The new character Mihono Asakura is voiced by Himika Akaneya. The show’s characters will appear in the game also and their respective voice actress will return for the role.

The anime directed by Kodai Kakimoto (Arpeggio of Blue Steel) at Studio Gokumi is written by Tatsuya Takahashi, who is famous for working on numerous adult visual novels developed by Leaf. The plot is yet to be revealed, but it is known that the girls’ weapons are famous Katana that exist in real life and the girls are high school students who also work as shire maidens to kill spirits.
