Tom Clancy’s The Division is expanding its universe to smartphone devices this year. As announced in today’s Ubisoft Forward, the franchise’s mobile spinoff Tom Clancy’s The Division: Resurgence will be launching in Fall 2023. The event also drop a stunning Tactical Action CGI trailer that provided players a glimpse at the combat approach adopted by the mobile entry.
As with the previous games in the series, Resurgence is set in a post-crisis New York City, one thrown into a crisis following an outbreak of a genetically engineered virus known as the “dollar flu.” And like those games, the mobile version is a cross between an open-world game, where you can explore the city and take on missions, and a multiplayer experience where you can squad up with friends.
for those wanting to jump right into the action players can sign up for a regional beta starting June 13 via the game’s official website. While pre-registered accounts will be able to unlock unique rewards at launch such as the NYC firefighter set and full gold weapon skin.
