During Netflix’s ‘From Japan to the World’ J-Content presentation held at today’s Anime Expo 2023, the streaming service giant announced that the stop-motion animated series Pokémon Concierge will start streaming this December. Netflix also revealed a video featuring Japanese actress Non, who is voicing the protagonist Haru, visiting the stop-motion set.
Non expressed her excitement on the stage of Anime Expo 2023, “It was a production that gives you the strength when you’re stressed or upset. I’m just honored to be a part of the production of such a large-scale work that radiants with healing energy,” said the Japanese actress and singer who recently directed and took the lead the movie, Ribbon.

As the first collaborative production between Netflix and The Pokémon Company, Pokémon Concierge is an ambitious stop-motion project produced by critically acclaimed dwarf studios, which also worked on Netflix’s Miraculous: Ladybug & Cat Noir, The Movie. Expanding the Pokémon world, the story follows Haru, a concierge at the ‘Pokémon Resort,’ and her interactions with Pokémon and their owners who visit as guests.
