▍About Tsukihime
Tsukihime is a visual novel created by Type-Moon, the creators of the Fate Series and the Garden of Sinners, spanning a combined universe created by Kinoko Nasu with art by Takashi Takeuchi culminating in several visual novels, animes, OVAs, films, games, and much more.
Tsukihime is one of Type-Moon’s most popular visual novels and follows the story of Shiki Tono, a high school student who, after suffering a life-threatening injury as a child has the power to see “Death Lines” which is a line that connects anything in the world, whether animate or inanimate and can destroy their existence by cutting the line. Shiki is exiled from his family due to the injury, and the constant sight of Death Lines causes massive headaches until he is given a special pair of glasses by Aoko Aozaki to stop him from seeing these lines.
Shiki returns home after his father died 8 years later, and while finding it difficult to adjust to the old-fashioned traditional life his family led, he comes across powerful beings akin to vampires and comes across one called Arcueid. Together they learn about the history of the Vampires, Shiki’s family, and his real past, all while dealing with the threats of a new type of vampire being formed by mutating humans.
