Devolver Digital and Terrible Toybox announced that it is releasing a mobile port of Return to Monkey Island on July 27, for both iOS and Android devices.
The game launched first on September 19, 2022, for PC via Steam before it made its way to consoles on November 8. The game continues the story after The Secret of Monkey Island and Monkey Island 2: LeChuck’s Revenge, which was released in the early 90s.
Return to Monkey Island is currently priced at USD$24.99 or your regional equivalent on Steam. Prices for mobile have yet to be announced.

The sequel to the original Monkey Island series by Lucasfilm Games. The game follows Guybrush, now much older retelling the tale of one of his adventures taking place years after the original games, on how he finally discovered the secret of Monkey Island. The story recounts Guybrush’s run-ins with the pirate LeChuck. Through several clashes, fake maps, real maps, deception, trickery, and even another pirate faction, Guybrush finally manages to come out on top and unlock the mystery of Monkey Island, hidden behind a safe requiring multiple keys.
The game brings back the classic point-and-click adventure gameplay, letting players solve puzzles, and explore the island with relative ease and a simple inventory system to make navigation and puzzle-solving much more streamlined.
