After it was briefly teased last week, the global servers of Reverse 1999 have opened the Utopia Test, or Closed Beta Test registrations on its official website!
Registration for the test is available until July 31, and it seems that the test will be open to 1500 players on iOS, Android, and PC. If the registration on the test exceeds 1500 players the game will hold a lottery raffle to pick out its eligible players. You can sign up for the test via Reverse 1999’s official website, and all you need to do is fill out a survey along with which platform you’d like the test to be on.
After the registration period, players will be notified via email if they have been selected, and if so you can then download the game and try it out on August 4, to August 13. Reverse 1999’s test will be available in English, Japanese, and Simplified Chinese.

On the final day of 1999, the world was brought to a new era – the 1920s, by a mysterious storm. The new version of the 1920s introduced the world to a new power known only as Arcanum, a strange power allowing its wielder to traverse through the 20th century, unbound by the laws of time. Those that wield the power are called Arcanists, and it’s up to you as one of them to travel through the time-stream and uncover all the secrets hidden in this new world.
Reverse: 1999 is a turn-based card-battling RPG. Players control a team of Arcanists, each with unique spells, and battle against the paranormal beings that have emerged from the storm.
Players can combine similar cards on the field to create even more powerful effects, all while using strategy and knowledge of your enemies, taking them down swiftly, and letting nothing get in the way of uncovering the truth.
