Arknights Global is getting ready to celebrate its 3-and-a-half-year anniversary, with its special limited event the Vernal Winds Never Blow, featuring a new limited operator, event, challenges, and more!
This event brings with it another Nian sibling, in the form of Chong Yue, and a character we’ve seen a long time ago but will finally make it to the game, Lin! There will also be a bunch of login events for plenty of upgrade materials free Orundums and pulls, along with new outfits for Ling and more!

The Solitude Universal banner will begin on July 28! This banner brings with it the limited Guard Fighter Chong Yue, along with the Caster Lin. Chong Yue will be removed from the banner when the banner ends on August 11, but Lin, as well as the 5-star character Firewhistle will still be available permanently.

This time around the event bonus operator will be Jieyun, a 5-Star Artilleryman operator that can be picked up by completing event challenges. Her Tokens can be picked up by redeeming event currency at the Swordsmith shop from July 28 to August 18.

▍Arknights Login Bonus
As with every limited event, there will be a big series of login bonuses, and this time is no exception
When you log in during the event period from July 28 to August 11, you can pick up a free 10x headhunting permit, and every day you can log in for a free roll in the Solitude Universal headhunting banner, netting you more than 20 pulls from just logging into the event!
Arknights will also be having a Red Envelope event. During days 1,5,7, and 10 of the event, players will pick up a red envelope that contains a bounty of bonus Orundums for them to claim. Every day during the event players will also receive a plethora of upgrade materials and furniture to add to their collection, giving you a nice boost in terms of progressing your characters without needing to farm.
And of course, Lucky Strips also makes a comeback giving players obtain between 200 to 800 Orundum daily by playing a small minigame. Like before if your daily reward is less than 400, the player will be given an extra trial on the next day to make up for the lower-than-usual Orundum they earned that day.
▍Arknights New and Returning Outfits
Cantabile, Mulberry, and Ling will also be receiving a new set of oriental-themed outfits, with Ling’s outfit also coming with Live 2D! This of course means her outfit will be a little more expensive than the others, as is usually the case with limited characters.
Aside from them though the store will be having a massive resurgence of new outfits from its Re-Edition series coming back, featuring Pioneer Raythean, Epoque, Icefield Messenger, and many more outfit lines making a return in the Rhodes Island fashion review, making it a great place for you to spend your Orundum Prime and maybe clear up those extra story missions you have lying around.
▍Arknights New Packages
Players with some money to spend will also be happy to know that the event will also be coming with a whole bunch of great packs for purchase! The celebration packs are a great way to stock up on pulls and resources for your operators all at an amazing bargain, and a few new additions like Monthly Chip Choice packs will be added to the game. Guard and Caster Chip packs will also be available during this event, specifically for those who haven’t farmed up enough chips and want to get their Lin and Chong Yue going at full power asap.
And of course, we can’t forget the new Rhodes Island headhunting pack, guaranteeing you a 6-star character upon purchase, with a 100% chance of acquiring one of the three operators seen below from each pack! You’ll only be able to pick from one of these packs at a time, so weigh your options carefully based on what you need to fill for your squad!
