Koei Tecmo and developer Omega Force have unveiled the second official trailer for Fate/Samurai Remnant, bringing new gameplay dynamics and exciting Servant additions, including Arjuna (Archer), Cu Chulainn (Lancer), Tamamo Aria (Rider), and more.
The trailer introduces the Rogue Servants, characters that give players unique abilities and overwhelming strength in the game. It also provides additional information about the characters and a game system in which players can establish connections with Rogue Servants, switching from enemies to allies through the Waxing Moon Ritual.
Fate/Samurai Remnant is an upcoming action RPG that combines hack-and-slash gameplay with the storytelling and world-building for which the Fate series is renowned. Developed by Koei Tecmo’s Omega Force in collaboration with Type-Moon, this game will take players back to the 4th year of the Keian era in Japan’s Edo period.
The protagonist, Miyamoto Iori, is a young man from Asakusa who finds himself unexpectedly embroiled in a fierce Holy Grail War. This war, known as the Waxing Moon Ritual, brings together seven pairs of Masters and Servants, historical Heroic Spirits with staggering power, to vie for the omnipotent wish-granting Waxing Moon’s Vessel. Amid this struggle, Iori must navigate the trials and tribulations of the war alongside his Servant, Saber.
Fate/Samurai Remnant is coming out for PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch, and PC via Steam on September 28 in Japan and worldwide on September 29.

– “Who am I? …Right. Consider me a guard dog protecting this place.”
A rogue servant of the Lancer class. His true name is Cu Chulainn. He handles his red spear, which exceeds his own height as if it were a part of his own body. He has a combative personality, seeking battles that give him a good challenge.
■ Rogue Rider – CV: Chiwa Saitō
– “From now on, let’s do even more good things together and become closer, okay?”
A rogue servant of the Rider class. Her true name is Tamamo Aria. Her charming appearance and somewhat out-of-this-world behavior captivate men. Instead of mastering something to ride, she appears to be the type of Rider who becomes the vehicle for someone else.
