After months of trailers and gameplay demos, Capcom has finally announced the release date for Monster Hunter World!
During Sony’s PlayStation Press Conference in Japan, Capcom has announced the global release date for Monster Hunter World to be on 26th January 2018. A new trailer was also premiered at the conference (Monster Riding Palicoes!!).
The press conference also revealed the title monster of Monster Hunter World, the Nerugigante (ネルギガンテ). The box art and Digital Deluxe Edition contents were also revealed during the conference.
The Digital Deluxe Edition will feature a Samurai Set, 3 Gestures, 2 Sticker Sets, 1 additional character face paint, and 1 additional hairstyle.
Sony also announced that they will be releasing a special PS4 Pro Monster Hunter World Edition in celebration of the game. The special edition PS4 will be released on 7th December 2017.
Both the game and the special edition of PlayStation 4 Pro will be open for pre-order at noon (JST) of 20th September 2017. Players who pre-order Monster Hunter World will also receive pre-order rewards including in-game gears like the Origin Series Armor Set and the Fair Wind Charm.
Mosnter Hunter World is due out 26th January 2018 for PS4, Xbox One, and PC.
