Announced 3 years ago, Billibilli’s mobile port of Ys VIII: Lacrimosa of Dana that’s officially licensed by Nihon Falcom, is finally now available for pre-registration!
The game’s mobile version, which will be available in Chinese and Japanese will let players experience Ys VIII all over again with mobile controls and streamlined systems. The game’s mobile version has currently only been announced for both languages and it’s unsure if it will receive an English release, like its console and PC ports released in 2018.
To pre-register simply head to the game’s official website and provide them with your email to be notified of the game’s release. There is currently no pre-registration campaign.

The eighth mainline entry in the long-running YS video game series by Nihon Falcom, the game was the first new release for the series years since the previous release of Ys: Memories of Celceta.
The game follows Adol on an adventure where he is shipwrecked on a cursed island, there he and other shipwrecked passengers have to help each other form a village on the island to survive, all while fending off fearsome beasts and exploring the mysterious ruins scattered throughout the island.
All the while, Adol keeps seeing visions of a blue-haired maiden, and along his journey, he will uncover the true mystery of the cursed island, and find the woman in his dreams.
Ys VIII is an action RPG with real-time combat as you control up to three characters at a time battling monsters and fiends alike. The mobile version features updated graphics from its 2018 release and a streamlined control scheme while still retaining its key mechanics, including Flash Guards, dodges, skills, and more.
