Publishers HIKARI FIELD and NekoNyan announced that they are publishing ALcot’s visual novel Clover Day’s Plus worldwide on PC via Steam on August 18. The game serves as the revamped Plus edition of the original Clover Day’s. While the in-game audio is in Japanese, the game will support Japanese, Simplified Chinese, Traditional Chinese, and English language text settings.
Originally released as an adult visual novel for the PC in 2014, Clover Day’s is a direct sequel to 2003’s Clover Heart’s. The title has gotten the age 15 and above treatment since and has been ported over to the PlayStation Vita in 2017.
As the enhanced version, Clover Day’s Plus adds newly animated character sprites and CGs to further immerse the player into the story. The release of Plus on Steam will also mark the first time the game comes over to the West with an official translation. Multiple routes await according to the choices players make, leading protagonist Yuuto Takakura to grow closer to six different girls.

▍Clover Day’s Story
The story tells of a young boy named Yuuto, who was raised in an orphanage in Britain after abandonment. Eventually adopted by a merchant named Yoshiomi Takakura, Yuuto is sent to Japan, though this brings new tribulations for the boy. Learning the language as he goes and fitting into his new home eventually, he gains a sense of belonging with the help of her new sisters, Anzu and Anri.
Ten years later, matured into a man of his own, Yuuto is greeted by another pair of twins he played with in his youth, Hekiru, and Hikaru. When the twins show up, some forgotten memories are rekindled.
