Flyhigh Works today launches its 2D ninja action game Shinobi non Grata for PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch. According to the PS Store page, the PlayStation 4 version is also playable on PlayStation 5.
Known for its hyper-retro graphics that showcase striking retro-style visuals, Shinobi non Grata plunges players into an action-packed world where they control the last descendant of the Fuuma shinobi clan, Kaina, fighting against the Oboro Ittou clan conspiring to overthrow the shogunate teaming up with demons.
Previously released for PC via Steam on May 24, the game features engaging gameplay that allows players to slash through oncoming enemies with Kaina’s beloved sword, Murasame, and use an array of exciting sub-weapons including Shurikens, Kusarigama, and the Elekiter.
The story, set in the year 1838, revolves around a time of social upheaval. Led by Genba Kisaragi, the Oboro Ittou clan has allied with demons to scheme the shogunate’s overthrow. In response, Kaina, the last descendant of the Fuuma clan, a clan that has always battled against the powers of darkness, takes up the fight. This is where his battle begins.
