At its PLAYISM Game Show, the publisher announced EDEN.schemata();, a science-fiction mystery adventure game developed by WSS Playground in collaboration with illuCalab. Set for a 2024 release on Steam, the game highlights a murder within a locked laboratory with the player and an android named Eve working together to unravel the truth behind a headless corpse, the Professor.
The game offers multiple endings and features an ever-changing user interface design that adapts as players progress through the story. The intrigue of the game’s story is enhanced by hand-drawn steampunk-style animations and a user interface that evolves with the story.
A playable demo of EDEN.schemata(); will be showcased at upcoming events such as Gamescom in Cologne, Germany (from August 23 to 28), and PAX West in Seattle, USA (from September 1 to 4). Visitors to these events will have a chance to experience the game firsthand, offering a glimpse into this adventure that challenges traditional conventions. Attendees who play the demo at these events will receive an original keychain.

EDEN.schemata(); is an upcoming sci-fi mystery adventure game produced by WSS Playground, a team also responsible for games such as Needy Streamer Overload.
The team behind the project includes Developer EIKI from illuCalab, known for games such as Gensou SkyDrift and Takkoman, and writer Van Madoy, who is renowned for the Revoir novel series. Character designer Yutaro, known in the Touhou Project fan community, is handling the visuals, while sound producer RD, famous for the composition “Sacrament,” Vatican Miracle Examiner ending theme, is responsible for the audio.
