Shoji Kawamori, famed as the director of Macross and Genesis of Aquarion, officially named his new TV anime project Juushinki Pandora (重神機パンドーラ). It is coming in Spring 2018.
Juushinki Pandora describes a world where natural energy has already depleted in the year of 2031. Energy is now generated by Quantum Reactor, but an accident causes a massive energy leak that turns most organisms except human into monsters called B. R. A. I.
Seven years later, Leon Lau and his little sister Chloe Lau live a peaceful life of researching on B. R. A. I. Little do they know that one day, a catastrophe will arrive to wipe them out.
It has been announced that Tomoaki Maeno and Nao Toyama will be voicing Leon and Chloe. The anime is now being produced at Satelight.
