Sega’s mobile RPG Pashamon (パシャ★モン) is released today. With AI camera identification technology, the game can turn real life objects into monsters for battles.
The gameplay is divided into three parts.
▍Photography
Players have to take photos of different objects in real life. The game will transform them into monsters with attack power.
If the game gets a picture of Japanese omelette rice dish, players get an omelette rice monster called Ketchapa (which means ketchup addict).
If the game gets a picture of a girl, players get a female monster called Mary.
▍Breeding
The monsters acquired need to be bred in order to fight well. They can also be acquired by mating, which means consuming two monsters to get a new variety.
▍Battle
The monsters can be used in online multiplayer battles. Single mode is also available.
