Zoids, a mecha franchise Created by toy company Tomy, has officially made a comeback after 12 years. The new series is titled Zoids Wild (ゾイドワイルド), introducing new types of mecha, a new TV anime, a Switch game as well as a mobile game.
Zoids started out as a mechanical animal scale model toy line in 1983. Later it had multiple spin-off products that include anime and manga series. In 2018, the franchise celebrates its 35th anniversary.
▍TV anime
The new show is directed by Norihito Suto (the Pokemon series) at OLM and written by Mitsutaka Hirota (Yu-Gi-Oh! VRAINS). It is coming in 2018 Summer.

▍Games
Two untitled games are currently in production. One will be released on Switch while the other one will be released on mobile. Their launch schedule is not mentioned.
