▍CHRONO MA:GIA
Japanese Gamer Reactions:
“Each commander is distinctively different from one another, quite refreshing.”
“The requirement to build a decent deck is quite high, you can’t do it unless you pay.”
“Why don’t they spend more time to improve PAD?”
Directed by the creator of PAD, CHRONO MA:GIA is clearlya new title that GungHo has poured in a lot of heart and effort. The final game is quite decent as well, from character designs to the general graphics and the way the game feels, the game is clearly much better than some of the company’s previous games. The distinctive skills and effects between each of the commanders makes the game quite interesting. However, the game has quite a lot of things to take in, at times the game becomes overly complex which makes it hard for players who are new to TCG games.
▍Kurokishi to Shiro no Maou (Chinese Version)
Gamers Reaction:
“My friend got addicted the second he started playing.”
“If you liked UNISON, then you really should give it a try.”
“It’s a long road to collect all the cards.”
If you’re looking for good looking characters, then this is the game for you. The character’s Live2D looks great, and the game features a great story. The game features quite a few MMO elements, which is great for players who enjoy playing a game with an active community.
▍Fishing Strike
Gamer Reactions:
“This is one of the best fishing games I’ve played.”
“I hooked a legendary fish, then I lost connection…”
“The distribution of species is interesting, and they’re easy to tell apart.”
Perhaps the greatest mobile fishing game to date. Don’t let the fishing element fool you, the game features incredibly impressing graphics which works well with the game’s surprisingly excessive skills which include summoning sea monsters and to attack the hooked fish.
Players can also keep fishes they have caught in their aquarium to add to their collection, or to let them grow and sell them for maximum profits!
▍GOD EATER RESONANT OPS
Japanese Gamer Reactions:
“Typical Pay-to-Win collectible RPG, just play it casually.”
“Hurry up and fix the HP ration for the monsters!”
“Quite a lot of problems to fix… I’ll try again in maybe a year.”
A turn-based collectible RPG made for fans of the series. the combat isn’t particularly deep, and the auto feature can easily help players play through majority of the game, but the main selling point of th game is the detailed character models. The new game has superior in-game atmosphere compared to the previous GOD EATER MMO.
Unfortunately, the combat backgrounds in the game are overly simple, escpecially when compared to the detailed character models, which makes the game look slightly incomplete at times.
▍The Legend of Heroes: Trails in the Sky – Kizuna
Japanese Gamer Reactions:
“The character models in combat don’t look like it’s an official game…”
“Illustrations re-use illustrations from previous titles, there’s nothing new.”
“In the end, they just made a game that has a deep VIP system.”
Honestly, asides from the IP, the game doesn’t have much going for it. The many of the existing illustrations are re-used in the game, and the character models barely resemble the original designs of the characters. In terms of gameplay, the game has an uncanny resemblance to Chain Chronicles. If you’re a fan of the series, be warned, this game may break your heart.
▍The Disastrous Life of Saiki K.: Moso Boso! Psychic Battle
Japanese Gamer Reactions:
“Isn’t this just Line Rangers’ gameplay?”
“Character dialogues are hilarious!”
A simple game which features characters from the series in a Line Rangers-like gameplay. The gameplay itself is nothing special, but the character interactions in the game inherits the comedy from the original series which makes it quite entertaining even for players who are not fans of the series.
▍Ryoseibai! Jet Nurse
Japanese Gamer Reactions:
“Character designs are quite ero, I’ll play if they make an 18+ version.”
“What’s with the loading screen for every page transition!?”
“Why are they so determined to not use Unity…”
Impressive character design, especially when you consider the fact that the characters are all fully clothed, but still has an incredible sexiness to them. However, that’s as far as compliments go for the game. The actual gameplay becomes quite repetitive after a while, and the game has an incredibly annoying loading screen which pops up on every screen transition.
