In celebration of the 20th anniversary of Doko Demo Issyo (どこでもいっしょ), Sony Interactive Entertainment and ForwardWorks have announced a new mobile game, Toro to Puzzle: Doko Demo Issyo (トロとパズル~どこでもいっしょ~).
Doko Demo Issyo is a series of life simulation video games created by Sony Computer Entertainment on 22nd July, 1999, starring the anthropomorphized cat character Toro Inoue (井上トロ), also known as “Sony Cat” due to him being the mascot of Sony.
Toro to Puzzle: Doko Demo Issyo is expected to be launched in 2019. Applications for closed beta test on iOS are available now until June 9, and the beta test itself will run from June 10 to 17. Players that have interest can access their official website for more information.
▍Gameplay
In Toro to Puzzle: Doko Demo Issyo, players can interact with Toro, Pokepi, and their friends while clearing puzzles to help them develop the town.
When each stage is cleared, new houses and buildings are available for players to build your own town.
You can also communicate with Toro, while enjoying his adorable response.
▍New Character
A new character Sora (ソラ) will join Doko Demo Issyo family. He will be the navigator guiding you through the game story.
▍20th Anniversary Celebrations Events
To celebrate the 20th anniversary, Doko Demo Issyo will collaborates with Sanrio with a series of products featuring the franchise iconic characters, including Toro, Kuro, Jun Mihara, Pierre Yamamoto and new character Sora.
A pop-up shop will also set at Tokyo Station from 19th -31st July.
