Based on the mecha anime television series Neon Genesis Evangelion, a new smartphone game “EVA Battlefields” (エヴァンゲリオン バトルフィールズ) is announced. A new official website and Twitter account is also launched. The game is expected to be released in 2020.
The game also confirms to join the Tokyo Game Show 2019, which will be held during 12th – 15th September at the Makuhari Messe Convention Center.
The project will be produced by Japanese video game developer InisJ (イニスジェイ). Although no further details are announced, the official website manifested that the game aims at “providing a brand-new gaming experience to users”.
The content of upcoming anime film Evangelion: 3.0+1.0 ( シン・エヴァンゲリオン劇場版: ||), which is scheduled for release in June 2020, will also be included.
