Anime adaptation of Kōji Kumeta’s (久米田康治) comedy manga Kakushigoto (かくしごと) reveals a main visual, teaser video and main cast. The anime will air in Spring 2020.
The series is animated by Ajia-do Animation Works and directed by Brave Beats director Yūta Murano (村野 佑太), with “Himouto! Umaru-chan”’s Takashi Aoshima (あおしま たかし) handling series composition, Shuuhei Yamamoto (山本 周平) designing the characters, and “Mr. Osomatsu” composer Yukari Hashimoto (橋本 由香利) composing the series’ music.

This story is about Gotou Kakushi, who is an artist who draws vulgar manga. He tries to hide it for the sake of his daughter, Hime. A father-daughter tale of love and laughter thus begins. The title “Kakushigoto” is a wordplay between “the hidden thing” and “the drawing job”.
