The anime adaptation of worldwide isekai hit Re:Zero − Starting Life in Another World (Re：ゼロから始める異世界生活) is confirmed to come back in April 2020!
The second season will follow the Everlasting Contract Arc in the 10th volume of the light novel. The story starts with Subaru and Emilia heading toward the Sanctuary, while Subaru trying to bring Roswaal home. However, when past and present collide, he would have to come face-to-face with a Witch who lives in his dreams.
The cast and staff will reprise their roles for the second season. Before the second season premieres, an edited version of the first season will premiere on 1st January 2020, with the edited version recapping the first season through one-hour episodes. New additional footage will also be included.
