The official website of the original TV anime “Listeners” (リスナーズ) streamed a teaser video and revealed the main cast and staff of the project.
“Listeners” is a rock music anime project developed by “Kagerou Project” (カゲロウプロジェクト) creator JIN (じん) and “Eureka Seven” (響詩篇エウレカセブン) writer Dai Sato (佐藤大). Illustrator pomodorosa is the project’s original character designer.
“Ajin” (亜人) director Hiroaki Ando (安藤裕章) is directing the anime at studio MAPPA, while Sato is overseeing the series scripts. JIN is producing the songs, and L!th!um is composing the music. Rie Takahashi (高橋 李依) stars in the series as Myū.

It is set in a world where nothing called “music” exists. A boy meets Myū, a mysterious girl with an empty audio input jack on her body. When she is plugged into an amp, something that will change the world is set in motion …. A journey of sound that will never be forgotten thus begins.
