Bandai Namco Entertainment yesterday (4th February) celebrated the 10th anniversary of the “GOD EATER” (ゴッドイーター) series with several events. A celebration PV and website were also revealed.
God Eater is a series of sci-fi action role-playing video games developed by Shift, starting with the titular game released in 2010 for PlayStation Portable. The series depicts the desperate battle between humanity and a race of omnivorous monsters in a futuristic post-apocalyptic world.
In 2018, the series launched a turn-based smartphone RPG “GOD EATER RESONANT OPS”. It also has several manga and light novel adaptations, and an anime adaptation.

▍“GOD EATER” In-depth Analysis “10CONTENTS”
The 10th anniversary celebration website starts serializing 10-themed topics, which provides an in-depth analysis of the “GOD EATER” series. Named “10CONTENTS”, the topics include an interview with “GOD EATER” manga adaptation mangaka Ikumi Katagari (片桐いくみ), how to survive in the universe of “GOD EATER”, the secrets of the weapons and the legendary mission.

▍10th Anniversary Illustration and Comments
The celebration website also calls for submission of the illustration and comments for the 10th anniversary of “GOD EATER”. The entry will be posted on the website and 25o applicants will be rewarded with original goods as presents.
Arts and comments from the illustrator of “Taiko no Tatsujin” (太鼓之達人), “Tekken” (鐵拳) and “GOD EATER” are also revealed.
▍“GOD EATER RESONANT OPS” Main Story Chapter 1
Main story chapter one of “GOD EATER RESONANT OPS” can now be checked on the 10th anniversary celebration website. It continues the story of “God Eater 2 Rage Burst”, and is set 4 years after the latter’s story, moving the setting “at long last” toward the Fenrir Headquarters in the year 2078. The story will open until 3rd April.
