During a live stream on 9th March, Sega Games’ upcoming rhythm mobile game “Project Sekai Colorful Stage ft. Hatsune Miku” (プロジェクトセカイ カラフルステージ!feat. 初音ミク) revealed gameplay and announced that the game will start pre-registration in late April.
The game’s illustrator Yuichi Murakami (村上ゆいち) also reveals ta new costume design for Miku and in-game character Hanasato Minori.
▍Gameplay
“Project Sekai Colorful Stage ft. Hatsune Miku” is a smartphone rhythm game that merges words and adventure elements. The story follows a young girl, who drops into the virtual world/ isekai after playing a mysterious song, “Untitled” on her smartphone. There, she meets Miku and other Vocaloid singers.
The game features a number of renowned songs from the Vocaloid singers, while part of the songs will be presented in 3D MV. Players can also select the songs with the original version or SEKAI version, which is a crossover of the Vocaloid singers and the game’s original characters.
Players will be able to change the costumes of the Vocaloid singers and their new looks will be shown in the 3D MV. A 2D mode will also be available.

The game also features a gacha system, where you can collect the stunning visuals of your favorite singers.
The live stream also revealed the music creator Neru will be joining the production. One of the theme songs will be created by DECO*27 and kemu.
