Square Enix today (28th April) opens the pre-registration for smartphone game “Engage Souls” (スクウェア・エニックス), which is set to release this summer for iOS and Android devices.

The game is set in the world where the “Engage” tournament prevails. The tournament features elements of Rock Paper Scissors and card battles. The story starts with a team of five young boys and girls aim to be “contractors” (professional players).
Players will be able to select one of the six academies that nurture the “contractors” and follow their various stories.
During battles, you have to build a card deck with different characters and play rock paper scissors to determine who attacks first. The character card can summons their “Soul” (ソウル) and unleash attacks.
You can strengthen the characters and unlock special skills by developing bondings. PVP mode is also available for you to challenge your friends.
▍Pre-registration rewards
Players can now pre-register the game via Twitter, LINE, or Mail on the official website. All players will be able to obtain Grand Stars x 2,500 and Message Ticket x 3 when the pre-registration reaches 250,000.
