“The Witcher” game series developer CD Projekt RED yesterday (26th August) announced a new AR game ‘The Witcher: Monster Slayer” for iOS and Android devices. The game is developed by Spokko under the CD Projekt group.

Set long before the time of Geralt of Rivia, “The Witcher: Monster Slayer” is an augmented-reality exploration game that challenges you to become an elite monster hunter. See the world around you transformed into the dark fantasy realm of “The Witcher”, and explore once-familiar locations now infested with dangerous beasts as you start on the path as a professional monster slayer.
You have to fight gigantic, life-size monsters in first-person via the RPG-inspired combat system. You can also train your character, brew potions and oils, craft bombs, and select the appropriate equipment for the battles ahead.
The game features story-driven quests that propel you through epic adventures inspired by “The Witcher” series, as you train to be an elite monster slayer.
“The Witcher: Monster Slayer” will support multiple languages including English and Japanese. The release date is not yet announced.
