[Qoo News] “The Idolmaster: Starlit Season” Reveals More Gameplay & New MV “SESSION!”

Bandai Namco’s upcoming PS4/PC game “The Idolmaster: Starlit Season” (アイドルマスタースターリットシーズン) reveals more gameplay and a MV for Project Luminous’ new single “SESSION!” The game is set to release in 2021.

▍Overview

In celebration of the 15th anniversary of the franchise, the video game collects characters from “The IDOLM@STER”, “The IDOLM@STER Cinderella Girls”, “The IDOLM@STER Million Live!”, and “The IDOLM@STER: Shiny Colors”.

The idol groups from the four agencies will join in the Project Luminous. Players will serve as the producer of the project and you are asked to create a new unit to participate in the Starlit Season festival. A new journey thus begins as the idols compete against each other to perform at the opening of the new Starlit Dome.

■ Stage & Live
Let’s liven up the venue and clear the “hakoyure” goal that represents the crowd’s excitement.

■ Audition
Meet the request of the judges by appearing in programs and events in which multiple idol units participate.

■ Fes
Fes is a stage where you compete with “rivals”. Excite your fans with your best performance and win your opponent!

■ Skills
Two types of points are required to acquire the idols’ skills. You will have to obtain points by completing daily production activities. Make the stage shine even further with the learned skills.

A special skill “Memories Drive” is also available. It can increase the number of participating members and greatly increase the amount of Synchro Gauge when making consecutive memory appeals.

■ Collaboration Songs Across Agencies
Some hit songs from the franchise can be sung on stage as collaboration songs. . A maximum of 5 idols from the members of “Cinderella Girls” and “Million Live!” can perform the stage. The reason for the collaboration will be clear in the main story.
