Bandai Namco confirms that the upcoming PS4/PC game “The Idolmaster: Starlit Season” (アイドルマスター スターリットシーズン) will be released on 27th May 2021 in Japan.
In celebration of the 15th anniversary of the franchise, the video game collects characters from the four idol brands; “The IDOLM@STER,” “The IDOLM@STER Cinderella Girls,” “The IDOLM@STER Million Live!” and “The IDOLM@STER: Shiny Colors”.
It features a brand-new story as the idols from four agencies forms a new unit called “Project Luminous.” Players will serve as the producer of the project and you are asked to create a new unit to participate in the Starlit Season festival. A new journey thus begins as the idols compete against each other to perform at the opening of the new Starlit Dome.
