Electronic Arts (EA) has announced that a new “Battlefield” mobile game is coming in 2022. Industrial Toys is working with DICE to develop the game.
The game will be an all-new, standalone game that is completely different from the upcoming “Battlefield” title for consoles. DICE general manager Oskar Gabrielson promised “to make Battlefield-on-the-go a reality and you can expect a fully-fledged, skill-based experience,” in a blog post.
The mobile “Battlefield” is being developed separately from the title that is coming to PlayStation, Xbox, and PC this holiday season. DICE said it has the biggest development team ever working on the title, setting up monumental expectations for the next entry.
The mobile game is now entering a testing period ahead of launching next year, and details will be revealed later.
