Restar Games officially launches the Ys VI Online: The Ark of Napishtim online RPG for mobile today on July 20. The game also celebrates its pr-registration reaching 1 million!
Ys VI Online: The Ark of Napishtim is the smartphone version of Ys VI, an action role-playing video game first released in 2003 for PC, and the sixth installment in the Ys video game series.
▍Story
The story begins after Adol’s ship is attacked by a fleet of Romun ships. Forced to sail into an unknown area, they encounter a large storm. Adol has swept off the vessel while trying to rescue a fellow sailor and washed ashore by the vortex that surrounds the Canaan Islands. He is found, unconscious, by the nieces of the chieftain of the nearby Rehda village, Olha and Isha, who are the daughters of his brother who died when battling with fellow Redha against the Wandering Calamity. The girls take him to their village and lay him to rest in their Uncle Ord’s house. Adol hears them talking about him and wakes up briefly, afterward going back to sleep because of his exhaustion. His adventure then begins.

Ys VI Online reproduces the original story of Ys VI in 3D graphics, which allows players to revisit the nostalgic story on their smartphones.
The monsters from the original game will appear in the mobile version, as well as strong original bosses. Jobs and skills that are different from the original game will be available. Choose from four jobs including Warrior, Mage, Ranger, and Assassin, as well as eight higher ranks.
The game also includes various new systems, including a fashion function that allows you to change appearance, and a pet function to raise creatures to assist your battles.
