DMM GAMES and Nitroplus’ Touken Ranbu -ONLINE- browser and mobile game has revealed a new touken danshi, Himetsuru Ichimonji, on its official Twitter.
Himetsuru Ichimonji (姫鶴一文字) is a Tachi in the game and is voiced by Koutaro Nishiyama. The sword was originally owned by Uesugi Kenshin, a warlord who ruled Echigo province during the Sengoku Period of Japanese history.
A special sword forging event for Himetsuru Ichimonji will be held from August 11 to 18 on the Japanese server. The new character will appear with a certain probability when you forge a sword with 500 of each material.

Johren officially launched the English version of Touken Ranbu Online Pocket for iOS and Android on August 10 [PDT]. Players will be able to sync data to the browser version by login the Johren account.
