Japanese gag yonkoma manga Pop Team Epic (ポプテピピック) will get a TV anime made by Kamikazedouga co.,ltd. in October. The official website for the anime has also launched recently. Despite having provided no introduction to the story of the coming adaption, the tag lines on the poster and the website meaning "don’t you dare forget, Takeshobo" and "there’s no Darkness, but ignorance" may give fans some hints.
Pop Team Epic illustrated by Ookawa Bukubu (大川ぶくぶ) has been serialised on Takeshobo’s website since 2014. The story revolves around the daily life of two extremely sarcastic 14 year old girls. The series is famous worldwide for its art style and absurd plot.
