In the latest Nintendo Direct broadcast, Nintendo announced Mario Strikers: Battle League, a soccer battle game that you can score goals with different items and special shots!
Up to eight players – four players on each team – can compete against each other on one Nintendo Switch system. In addition to individual matches, the game will feature online play matches with up to 20 players and compete against other clubs for points!
Mario Strikers: Battle League will release for Nintendo Switch on June 10, 2021 and pre-orders begin today in Nintendo eShop.

In Mario Strikers: Battle League, players can outfit their characters with a variety of costumes. These costumes will not only change how the character look, but they will also change a character’s five main stats: Strength, Speed, Shooting, Passing and Technique.
▍About Mario Strikers
The Mario Strikers series, also known as the Mario Football series in Europe and Australia, and the Mario Soccer series in South Korea, is a series of Mario games in which Mario and his friends play soccer. It is a Nintendo-exclusive series that launched its first game in 2005. The series contains Super Mario Strikers and Mario Strikers Charged, as well as the upcoming Mario Strikers: Battle League.
Two games were released under this moniker: Super Mario Strikers on the GameCube and Mario Strikers Charged on the Wii. The Nintendo Switch game marks the third game in the series.
