Buki yo Saraba
武器よさらば
Japanese Gamer Reactions:
The game is obviously good, why is there so little players?
The lack of co-op features has proved to be lethal.
Five-star weapons are strong, but two-star weapons are all you really need.
The core of the gameplay is similar to Shiro Neko Project,
but features a hot-blooded shonen style.
Not exactly a game for everyone.
The only certain thing is the game is quite well made,
even with a screen full of enemies and giant bosses,
the game runs quite smoothly, giving you the full Hack’n Slash satisfaction.
The only bad thing about the game is the gacha system.
Unlike Shiro Neko, Characters and weapons comes separately,
5-star weapons have a 2% drop rate…
Toukiden Mononofu
討鬼伝 モノノフ
Japanese Gamer Reactions:
Hmm, It’s a little different from what I had in mind.
The controls for the original Toukiden was already controversial enough, and now with the mobile version…
With so many maintenances, you simply can’t farm at all.
Similar to Monster Hunter, Toukiden came to the mobile scene with a slight twist. Optimizing the game for mobile, character movement became more restricted, making the combat more strategic than the original.
Thankfully, the series’s fast paced gameplay is still retained. However, the change does make the game a little bland, Toukiden fans might not get the same satisfaction from before.
Boxing Angel
ボクシングエンジェル
Japanese Gamer Reactions:
The game has quite a lot offer, should be able to spend a lot of time on it. (If service keeps running…)
The difference between the quality of illustrations is appalling.
A Chinese-made game launched several years ago, re-launched by a Japanese publisher for better localization. The game’s system is pretty much shards based, collecting materials to make different gears that strengthen your characters.
Through tapping and swiping, players can perform different punches during fights. When character’s HP drops below a certain threshold,
their clothes strip off… Pretty interesting if you know what I mean.
Sadly, the art style of the game is seriously crippled, ignoring the low-budget UI design, characters look completely different in-game compared to how they appear on the title screens and illustrations. Not entirely a bad thing, considering how appalling some of the illustrations are…
All-in-all, Boxing Angel is quite an interesting concept for a game, but sadly, poorly executed.
Axis Senki
あくしず戦姫 ~戦場を駆ける乙女たち~
Japanese Gamer Reactions:
Gameplay and quality for five years ago
Just looking at the combat system you can tell it’s a trap, don’t even need to go through the tutorials.
Hard to believe the game is made in Japan, are you sure it wasn’t developed by foreigners?
Character design and animations are not bad, but the game’s system made a great leap back in time.
A game is one of those typical auto-battle games, which comes with a few additional problems like frequent and long maintenance. Due to this, the game received quite a few negative reviews.
Yowamushi Pedal Connect Road
弱虫ペダル Connect Road
Japanese Gamer Reactions:
Gacha system is utterly terrible, definitely not going to spend money.
No effort spent on the game’s system, they’re simply selling the series’ characters.
AS a fan of the series I’m already satisfied
A game made purely for fans of the series. The core ofYowamushi Pedal: Connect Road is just another typical block removal game, as plain as they come.
But combining the satisfaction of the block removal concept with the dynamic cycling animations, the game creates a mysterious sense of speed. Overall, it’s not a terrible game.
