Kangoku Boy
監獄少年
Japanese Gamer Reactions:
"Their previous games were amazing, definitely going to play this one!"
"Will this story break my tear ducts as well? ; ;"
"Beautiful art style with a compelling story!"
SEEC has always created games with compelling characters and immersive storylines. Kangoku Shonen is no different. The overall style of the game is more or less aimed at the female market.
The story is well written and sublimely presented in chapters so surely, even male players will enjoy it.
A Chinese version will be coming out on QooApp soon!
Valiant Force
Gamer Reactions:
"The game is not bad and the combat is quite different"
"Choosing a class for my character is such a dilemma!"
"The more I play, the deeper I fall into the game’s trap…"
From Singapore comes Valiant Force. Both graphics and character designs are quite well made and the tactical style gameplay is equally well thought out.
However, their Gacha system is simply too much. Normally having a gacha for characters and a separate gacha for gears doesn’t cause too much issue with gameplay but in Valient Force characters can be trained into different jobs and has Faiths which affects their stats.
To make things more complex, the game’s weapons also have randomized stats, meaning getting the right item with the right stats is all up to RNG.
Yokai Saga
요괴
Korean Gamer Reactions
"Fans of collectible RPG will love this game! The Yokai in the game has a friendly atmosphere around them!"
"The game seems interesting at first… but it gradually becomes disappointing"
"A little like Dota RPGs auto battle system, but with a few twists, each character has three skills"
A Korean title with multi-language options. The core of the game is similar to Summoner Wars, with a little upgrade on graphics and features.
With that being said, each new feature comes with a different Gacha, players will have to spend a lot of time or money to make decent progress.
To top it all off, none of them creates a real impact on the gameplay, almost as if they’re there just for the sake of adding something new. Compared to Summoner Wars which has fewer features, the game still lacks elements with real impact towards players.
LINE Akindo Sei no Little Peso
LINE アキンド星のリトル・ペソ
Japanese Gamer Reactions
"Oh no! The more I play the more I find Little Peso adorable!"
"Starting to get addicted to Little Peso’s voice."
"Just started watching the anime series, so cute!"
A simulation game released in sync with the TV anime series. Following an adorable setting, the game is rather interesting.
Although minor changes have been added to the story, the core of the story remains the same. Due to an obsession with pay-to-win games, the prince was exiled from the kingdom to run a universal business.
The gameplay is similar to that of Cookie Clicker, with a Gacha that allows players to collect different aliens. The setting of the game is interesting, but it’s simple and casual game tone is a little disappointing.
