A new jazz-inspired multimedia project titled, “swing,sing”, was revealed this Saturday at AnimeJapan 2022. The story follows a student who drops out of music school to move to a town in Nagano, where she runs the Primrose Café.
Swing Sing was idealized by Isumi Aki, while the character designs are by Higashiyama Eito. The musical production is by Hirotaka Hayakawa and the manga adaptation will be by Toriyarou, who debuts professionally with this project. General production is by ISARIBI.
The swing,sing project has already opened its official website and Twitter account, through which they will give more information about what form it will take in the future. A campaign to raffle the promotional poster signed by the cast is currently active.
▍1st Theme Song Now Available!
Their 1st theme song, Harmony is now available to listen on the project’s official YouTube channel. During the AnimeJapan 2022 weekend, attendees who visit the ISARIBI booth will take away a free booklet with a CD that includes this first track.
In addition, it was announced that a concert of the project under the name “What A Wonderful Music World” will be held on May 29 at the JZ Brat SOUND OF TOKYO. All five voice actress will be present on stage at the event.
