Koei Tecmo’s Dynasty Warriors 9 (真・三國無双８) was announced late 2016. Asides from a few information on new characters and the game being the first open world title in the series, not a lot have been revealed about the upcoming game.
After several months of wait, Dynasty Warriors 9 Producer, Akihiro Suzuki, posted on the official Dynasty Warrior twitter account saying new information on the game will be released in May.
