You know it, we know it, Summer Game Fest is coming, and it’s only a matter of days before the show kicks off, giving us loads of news on the latest games with over 30 companies making an appearance with announcements over the coming days,
To help you get a better idea of the schedule of Summer Game Fest 2022, here’s our breakdown of what to expect from June 9 to June 13, when to watch, which companies are slated to show up, and what will be available in the showcases!

▍Summer Game Fest Day 1 – Kickoff & Devolver Digital
■ Part 1: Summer Game Fest + Day Of the Devs
Summer Game Fest officially begins on June 9, with Geoff Keighley as the host showcasing games, and announcing new projects. Geoff has previously stated that Summer Game Fest will be focusing more on projects that have already been announced.
With Day 1 focusing on the broader industry as a whole, we may expect companies such as EA, Dotemu, 2k, Bloober team, Bandai Namco, Epic Games, Mihoyo, Sega, Raw Fury, MDHR, Sony, Square Enix, Steam, Skybound Games, Level Infinite, Warner Bros, Frost Giant, just to name a few, as these companies are not hosting their own events, it is likely that they may make an appearance on this day, or at Microsoft’s event.
Mihoyo has stated that they will be showing off new information and footage from Honkai: Star Rail, and maybe some more information on Zenless Zone Zero!
Summer Game Fest will officially kick off on June 9, 11:00 [PDT].
■ Part 2: Devolver Digital
On June 9, 3:PM [PDT], Devolver Digital will be kicking off its event, showcasing its “Marketing Countdown to Marketing”. Devolver Digital is known for having fairly bombastic and outrageous events, usually pre-recorded and parodying the industries and gamer culture. This year is especially different as leading the Devolver Direct will be none other than a mechanized Suda 51!
If you’re unfamiliar, Suda 51 is the CEO of Grasshopper Manufacture, and is responsible for directing games such as Lollipop Chainsaw, Let It Die, and No More Heroes! With “at least four videogame announcements” to be made during the event, expect a bizarre, comical, and action-packed show when Devolver performs its signature directs.

▍Summer Game Fest Day 2 – Netflix, Tribeca Games
■ Part 1: Netflix Geeked Week
Netflix aims to cap off its Geeked week with its lineup of announcements at Summer Game Fest, announcing, and giving glimpses into new shows, and game announcements!
With Netflix producing shows like the live-action adaptation of One-piece, Jojo’s Bizarre Adventure: Stone Ocean premiering in 2022, and the newly announced Cyberpunk: Edgerunners show, we can expect to see a lot of new anime-related announcements and possibly gaming announcements related to these brands such as information on games like Jojo’s Bizarre Adventure: All-Star Battle R!
The Netflix Geeked Week: Gaming event will begin on June 10, 10:00 [PDT],
■ Part 2: Tribeca Games Spotlight
Tribeca Games will be featuring exclusive gameplay, and interviews from the games chosen by Tribeca Studios. As shown on its website, we can expect to see more info on games such as Thirsty Suitors, Venba, A Plague Tale: Requiem, American Arcadia, The Cub, as Dusk Falls, Cuphead – The Delicious Last Course, Immortality, and OxenFree II: Lost Signals.

▍Summer Game Fest Day 3 – Xbox, Bethesda, & PC Gaming Show
■ Part 1: Xbox + Bethesda Games Showcase
With Sony having recently shown off its up-and-coming lineup from its recent State of Play broadcast, many are anticipating what the giant Microsoft will have in store with Bethesda! Microsoft has stated that “this show will feature amazing titles coming from Xbox Game Studios, Bethesda, and our partners around the world”. With Microsoft still in the midst of acquiring Activision Blizzard, we can expect to see more information on Activision titles including Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 at this event.
Bethesda may be looking to show more information on the upcoming space-sim RPG Starfield, and fingers are still crossed as to whether or not we will finally get some more information on Elder Scrolls 6, more content for Fallout 76, or even a new Fallout game.
The Xbox event will begin on June 12, 10:00 [PDT]
■ Part 2: PC Gamer Show
Hoping to surprise the industry with brand new announcements, the PC gaming show is stated to show off 45+ never-before-seen trailers, interviews, and announcements for upcoming PC games! We have no idea what new games will be announced at this event but expect to see some more information on Arma 4, and the upcoming Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 2!
With Digital Extremes, Epic Games, and even Steam listed as partners, expect new projects coming from Epic, games, more information on Warframe, and a whole assortment of games coming to the Epic Game Store and Steam.
The PC Gamer Show event will begin on June 12, 12:30 [PDT].
▍Summer Game Fest Day 4 – Capcom
Capcom will round off Summer Game Fest with updates on all of its previously announced titles! Expect to learn more about some of the hottest titles on the way, from Street Fighter 6, Monster Hunter Rise: Sunbreak, and maybe even the Resident Evil 4 Remake? Capcom showed off a lot of information on upcoming games recently at the Sony’s State of Play, so it will be interesting to see what Capcom will still have in store to host an entire showcase. Will we finally get more information on Pragmata?
