From Mario Run to Fire Emblem Heroes, Nintendo has started making their way into the mobile gaming scene. According to a report by Wall Street Journal, Nintendo is working alongside Japanese developer DeNA to bring the renowned The Legend of Zelda series to mobile. Previously Nintendo worked with DeNA to create Fire Emblem Heroes which has been very well received.
According to WSJ’s report, although Nintendo has yet to confirm the price of the game, they have plans to release the new Zelda mobile title after the release of the mobile version of Animal Crossing, scheduled for release in the second half of 2017.
In the company’s 2017 financial accounts, in 2018 Nintendo will release two-three mobile titles. Although there are still no official confirmations to this statement, looking at the direction Nintendo is heading, the possibilities of said titles are quite high.
